Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre

The Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre is the heart of the Civic Center Music Hall. Described as ‘a building within a building,’ the theatre is architecturally and acoustically isolated from the original building. The design is an adaptation of the classic shoebox pattern. With a capacity of 2481, this world-class theatre features a proscenium stage that opens to an elegant auditorium of prominent box seats, three-tiered plush seating, excellent sight lines and acoustical superiority.

Featuring state-of-the art lighting, acoustics and sound technology, the Thelma Gaylord Performing Arts Theatre is capable of facilitating a full range of performances, from productions of a smaller scale to the grandest scope. Freede Little Theatre

The Freede Little Theatre provides a more intimate space than a larger auditorium, making it the perfect location for smaller groups.

The Theatre offers seating for 286 and is the ideal venue for shows, recitals, movies and seminars. New spacious dressing rooms provide the option for theatrical productions. (pdf)

CitySpace

Every seat is close to the stage in the Civic Center’s newest theatre, CitySpace. Located in the basement on the north end of the Civic Center, CitySpace is a 2,800 square foot, black-box theater – perfect for audiences of 100 or less. The space is extremely versatile and can be easily adapted to the artistic elements of a production. This area is ideal for small productions or intimate evenings with performers. (pdf)

Meinders Hall of Mirrors

Meinders Hall of Mirrors is Oklahoma City’s most elegant setting for any special occasion or gathering.

The Hall retains its original art deco design offering 4,800 square feet of banquet, dance or reception space complete with a stage and prep kitchen.

Massive mirrors and immense windows frame this elegant ballroom providing a stunning view of downtown Oklahoma City and the re-designed Bicentennial Park.
